Job Description:
To assist project investigators to conduct economic research related to fisheries economics or marine living resource management. Main duties include database management (data entry, data quality control, graphic presentations, etc.) and in-person interview with fishermen.
Minimum Qualifications:
Enrolled in a graduate program at UH with research interests in natural economics and environment science such as Natural Resources and Environmental Management (NREM) or Economics Department; Would be able to work outside of UH campus at least 8 hours a week; US Citizen.
Desirable Qualifications:
Good database management skills (such in ACCESS, R, or Oracle) and in-person communication skills; Possess a valid driver’s license.
Duration:
Begin immediately and renewable annually pending satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
